52 Weeks of Happy (10/52)
I am into Day 9 of The Week From Hell (how is that even possible?) and still have another five days of mania until I can breathe a bit, but there was no way I was going to miss out on this week’s happy posts. The photographs are a little less polished than in previous weeks but that’s allowed once in a while right?
As ever, this post is inspired by Jen at Little Birdie’s project to find and celebrate four simple things each week that have made you happy, so moving clockwise from top left, these are my four slices of happy for Week 10/52:
∆ This vintage typewriter. Oh how I wish it was mine and situated in an isolated wooden shack on the edge of a beautiful Nordic lake with a hot tub out front. A girl can dream….
∆ Xav and Socks the bear who jingles as he walks (the bear, not the boy)
∆ The Russian dolls commission is almost finished. I am happy that they look good and also happy that I have finally finished them (I will post a proper picture soon).
∆ We brought our Christmas tree home on the roof of the car on Sunday afternoon. Driving across the rolling West Oxfordshire countryside as the sun was setting, wondering if the tree would still be on the roof when we got home made me and the big fella chuckle quite a lot - the boys however, were oblivious to the potential peril in which we had placed our biggest festive offering as they were too busy playing with a wind-up dancing snowman on the back seat :)
So these are my happies, what are yours for this week? Leave a link to yours below and I’ll pop by and check them out - I need an extra boost of nice stuff this week!
