52 Weeks of Happy (23/52)

Joining in as ever with Jen at Little Birdie, although I’m a bit late with my happies this week - I’m still catching up after our trip to Rome (more on that later in the week).

I am amazed we are almost reaching the midway point in this project - so many happy things to look back on already. Anyway, here are my happies for week 23. Apologies if you follow me on instagram as you will have seen some of these already.

∆ Signs of spring are gradually creeping into our home. I’ve been playing around with Snapseed and like how this photo almost looks like a painting.

∆ Flying over the snow-covered Alps on Thursday morning. A sudden break in the cloud revealed this view below and it fair took my breath away.

∆ Stopping for a gran caffe at Sant’ Eustachio in Rome. It really is as good as they say it is.

∆ Marking our ten years of marriage. We took this picture overlooking Il Foro on Friday morning then spent most of the day remarking how much older and knackered we both look compared to the fresh-faced newlyweds who arrived in Rome ten years previously!

I hope you have had a good week. I am going to spend this evening catching up with everyone’s blogs - I have missed you all!
