I’m taking part in Jen at Little Birdie’s year-long initiative to photograph four things each week which have made her happy.
She was inspired by the quote “the happiest people don’t have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything”, which struck me as a pretty good sentiment and one which I could definitely do with remembering more often.
So I’m in and we’re now into week 3. If you’ve not done so already, check out my week 1 & 2 slices of happy. Do also check out Jen’s as well - in her blog’s comments section you’ll also find links to some of the other bloggers who are taking part.
Here is my slice of happy for week 3/52:
∆ Coming across old photographs of me and my brother
∆ Admiring a stash of ‘new’ china from my mum’s massive clear-out
∆ Conkers - these first shiny brown treasures of the season are destined for the boys
∆ Sunday night baking of apple tea cake for a good old fashioned after-school treat
What’s made you happy this week? If you feel like participating the project, leave a link to your selection in the comments below - it would be ace to spread the happiness far and wide!
